I feel bad about firefox too, but this is for our own good (I mean users).
It's not fait to compair FF to Chrome because at this point Chrome in beta stage.

I love both of them because they are are great and because they kicked IE's butt LOL

I have installed Google Chrome and found browsing fun with its simple Gtalk like Simplicity. I'll stick with FireFox for now until Chrome gets some useful plugins to enhance it.

yah, even me i'm sad that chrome will definitely take away some of the Firefox users. Chrome has a little effect on IE users since if the IE loyal users like to use open source browser such as Firefox, then they should have done that before. So this will hit Firefox in my opinion. Like me, i like firefox, i like open source, that's why I am now using Google chrome. =(

I have just downloading it, and am posting on it now. I've heard Chrome has a few bugs, such as it does not have the standard bar where you open files, etc., it has a few ugly things like selecting text (it looks like IE, dang) and is not customizable like FireFox is. However, I have heard from Opera users that it's faster than even that browser.

I will stick with FireFox 3 for now, although I LOVE other Google products (Google actually funded FireFox before). Chrome is still in Beta, and I expect it to improve. That is when I may use it.

I would not want FireFox to die, but at least Chrome isn't AMAZING it's first day of release.

I think more competition will raise the bar for the end user. People seem more willing to shift from Microsoft to Google than they are Microsoft to Mozilla.

Chrome does a great job handling Javascript. It's super fast.

they're taking all the best things from all the other browsers.. so I'm also quite convinced that if it will be as good as they promise it to be, Firefox might lose a lot of users.
on the other hand, IE might lose even more, so hooray! :)

I agree. I feel sad for Firefox too, but I might still migrate to Chrome if it proves good enough. Maybe Google will take over Mozilla (I know they are not a for-profit company).
